The governor of the Vologda region invited the veteran of his military district to head the Nyuksen district.

Anton Tropin, a veteran of the Russian Military, may head the Nyuksen district of the Vologda Region instead of the former head of the district, who resigned after the scandal with her daughter's video. This was announced on June 4 by the governor of the region, Georgy Filimonov.

Tropin thanked Filimonov for his trust.

The head of the Nyuksen municipal District of the Vologda Region, Yulia Shevtsova, was dismissed on May 20 after a video clip in which her daughter, using Shevtsova's status, threatens ill-wishers with being sent to a special military operation. Then Filiminov noted that a new candidate for the post of head of the district would be sought among the veterans of the special operation.
