- Zakharova spoke about the timing of the transfer of 6 thousand bodies of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russia will transfer 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian militants to Ukraine in the near future. This was announced on June 4 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"As a gesture of goodwill, I would like to emphasize once again that the Russian side will transfer to Ukraine 6,000 bodies of dead servicemen from Ukraine. This process will begin in the near future," she said at a briefing.
In addition, Zakharova recalled that Ukraine was asked to consider the possibility of short-term cease-fires with the shutdown of drones for a period of two to three days in various conflict zones. This initiative is aimed at collecting the bodies of the dead.
"Permanent medical commissions will be established, based on the conclusion of which the parties will, without waiting for major political decisions, form lists for the exchange of seriously wounded soldiers," the diplomat noted.
According to her, the exchanges will take place regularly and promptly, without waiting for significant political agreements.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also announced an agreement on the exchange of young soldiers under the age of 25 according to the "all for all" formula.
On June 2, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky, said that the Ukrainian and Russian sides at the talks in Istanbul had agreed on the largest exchange of prisoners of war since the beginning of the special military operation, which would include at least 1,000 people, and the exchange would be equal. He also added that Moscow would unilaterally transfer 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers to Kiev.
