The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the liberation of Redkodub in the DPR

The Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of the liberation of the Redkodub settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), which was attended by military personnel of the Zapad group of forces. The video was posted on June 4th.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the settlement was liberated by soldiers of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Army. During the assault, the fighters used aviation, artillery and attack drones (UAVs).

After suppressing the firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and enemy military equipment, the assault groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation cleared the buildings, destroying the remnants of the AFU garrison and seizing an arsenal of small arms. It is specified that after the liberation of the settlement, the flags of Russia were raised over it.

On June 3, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated the village of Andreevka in the Sumy region. As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 230 military personnel, 15 combat vehicles, and four field artillery pieces.
