Winter tire prices in Russia have reached peak values for the year

The average price of a new premium winter tire for passenger cars in Russia increased by 16.5% over the year. This was announced on June 4 in its Telegram channel by the National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI). In May 2025, the average price was the highest in the last year, according to statistics published by the agency.

So, in May of this year, the average price of premium winter tires reached 28.7 thousand rubles. This is 4.1 thousand rubles more than in the last spring month of last year. The minimum average price for the reporting period was 23.5 thousand rubles in July 2024.

At the same time, the average price of a summer tire for the year increased by only 1.1% and in May this year amounted to 29.5 thousand rubles (+0.3 thousand rubles compared to May 2024). This indicator reached its maximum value for the year in April 2025 - 30.7 thousand rubles. The lowest prices were recorded in July 2024 - 28 thousand rubles.

On May 15, NAPI reported that the average price of a new Russian car in April 2025 reached 1.48 million rubles, which is 54.8% more than in February 2022. The average price for a used Russian car no older than 20 years in April 2025 was 0.6 million rubles, which is 26.1% more than in February 2022.
