Zakharova called Berbok's chairmanship at the 80th UN General Assembly a self-promotion

Former German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbok will hold a self-promotion event as chairman of the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly. This was announced on June 4 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"What to expect? Of course, self—promotion and relying solely on your own agenda," she said on Sputnik radio.

One added that Burbock came to the diplomatic field because she was able to "jump on the political trampoline" by taking a detour.

In addition, Zakharova spoke about the expectations of the Berbok presidency at the UN General Assembly.

"What can you expect from a man who, according to Germans, and not only ordinary people, but also those who represent political parties and social movements, is a disgrace to German diplomacy, a disgrace to Germany," she concluded.
