As explained by the Pskov news feed, earlier the train departed from the Ladoga railway station in St. Petersburg. There, the cars of the non–stop service to Murmansk were connected to the Moscow-Murmansk train. Now the wagons will be attached to the Murmansk – Pskov train in the city of Dno. In this regard, parking there will be increased to 4 hours in the direction of Velikiye Luki and to 3 hours 45 minutes in the opposite direction.

In addition, the timetable of the St. Petersburg - Sebezh non–stop trains will change. In Velikiye Luki, the cars will be idle longer — from 2 hours 40 minutes, the waiting time will increase to 3 hours 40 minutes.

Earlier it was reported that in the Pskov region, 22 km of rail lashes were replaced on the Veshki – Karamyshevo section. The work has been carried out since mid-February 2025 during the technological window. This made it possible to minimize the impact on train traffic on this section. The renovation of the tracks will significantly improve the quality and safety of rail services in the region.
