Nearly 20 people were killed in an Israeli strike on a school in the southern Gaza Strip.

An Israeli army air attack on a school in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza killed at least 18 people. This was reported on June 4 by Al Jazeera TV channel.

"At least 18 people, including children, were killed in an Israeli air attack on a school where internally displaced persons were sheltering in the southern city of Khan Yunis," the article says.

According to the TV channel, many of the displaced persons were recently displaced from eastern Khan Yunis.

On June 3, 27 people were killed as a result of shelling of a humanitarian aid distribution center in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). It was reported that the military opened fire on a group of people who had left the designated access routes to humanitarian aid in Rafah.
