Over the past day, pyrotechnics have managed to clear over 200 explosive objects, including hand grenades, anti-tank mines, and improvised drone drops. This was reported on June 4 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"Submunitions are most often found: small "bells" are sometimes completely buried in the ground, it is not easy to find them. They are extremely dangerous: when attacking a projectile, the hull shatters into fragments and seriously injures, with a possible fatal outcome. All ammunition is detonated using overhead charges," the department's Telegram channel says.

In total, they have managed to clear about 100 hectares of territory since August last year. During the specified period of time, specialists neutralized over 5,600 explosive objects. It is specified that such events are carried out within the framework of the counter-terrorism operation regime.

Earlier, on June 3, employees of the Specialized Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) told how they carry out mine clearance and rescue operations in the liberated territories of the region.
