Liksutov announced an update to the Parking of Russia app

The Russian Parking mobile application will have a new version running on domestic software. The design and functionality of the service will be updated, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"We are constantly working to improve our digital services, making them more convenient and useful," Liksutov said. He added that users will see the improved interface, new design and functionality of the application this year.

In particular, users of the new version will be able to customize the individual appearance of the main screen. It will also be possible to launch new features without updating in the app stores.

In 2022, the capital's parking payment platform, Parking Lots of Moscow, was renamed Parking Lots of Russia. Earlier, Liksutov said that more than 10 billion rubles received by Moscow from the payment of city parking were allocated for the improvement of courtyards.

According to him, in two years, motorists have replenished their account in the application 55.4 million times without commission. Liksutov explained that the city is responsible for paying the commission charged by banks for transactions, in an effort to make "city services more convenient and accessible."

The Parking of Russia app is a universal assistant for drivers that operates in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kislovodsk and cities in the Moscow region. You can use it to arrange parking, adjust the session time and license plate number of vehicles, top up your account, find a parking spot, and much more. In Moscow, 95% of motorists pay for parking using the app.

The Department of Transport announced that on 05.06 from 02:00 to 04:00, on 12.06 from 00:00 to 06:00 and on 13.06 from 00:00 to 06:00, work is planned in the mobile application, and therefore a temporary limitation of the application's functionality is possible during this period. This is necessary to increase its performance and stability, as well as to make the service more convenient and reliable. It will be possible to pay for parking with a barrier using a bank card at the exit counters and terminals.
