- Ten clubs of the First League supported the participation of Pari NN in the next RPL season

Ten First League clubs supported the participation of the Paris NN football Club in the next season of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was announced on June 4 by the press service of the National Football League (FNL).
They noted that the FNL, at the request of the Russian Football Union (RFU), initiated a survey among the participants of the First League about who should take the place of FC Khimki, which did not receive a license to participate in the tournament.
According to the results of the survey published by the FNL, one club refrained from responding, and four considered that the Ural club should participate in the next RPL season.
"Ten clubs have expressed the opinion that the Paris NN football club should take part in the 2025/26 <...> RPL season," the organization's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that an official letter based on the results of the survey among the participants of the First League will be sent to the RFU.
On May 30, Maxim Mitrofanov, General Secretary of the RFU, said that FC Khimki's license to participate in the next RPL season had not been issued due to overdue accounts payable. According to him, the club did not show the dynamics of debt repayment, and the second aspect of the problem was the lack of guarantees of financing for the next season.
