US President Donald Trump has said that he sympathizes with Chinese President Xi Jinping, but it is difficult to reach an agreement with him. He wrote about this on June 3 on the Truth Social network.
"I like Chinese President Xi Jinping, and I always have. But he is a very tough [politician], and it is extremely difficult to make a deal!" the American leader wrote.
On May 30, Trump announced that he was confident of holding a conversation with Xi Jinping in the near future. According to him, China violated a significant part of the trade agreement concluded with the United States on the reduction of mutual duties.
