Putin expressed his condolences to the family and friends of composer Doga


Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to the family and friends of People's Artist of the USSR and Moldavia, world-famous composer Evgeny Doga in connection with his death. The text of the telegram was published on the Kremlin's website on June 4.
"Evgeny Doga's original, inspired work, his educational and charitable activities are a bright page in the history of our multinational culture," the head of state noted.
He called the composer an outstanding, talented and enthusiastic person. According to Putin, the memory of the Great Dane will forever remain in the hearts of his relatives, colleagues and all admirers of his work.
Doga's death became known the day before. During his life, the composer wrote operas, symphonies, as well as music for theater and cinema. He has collaborated with leading directors, including Emil Loteanu and Sergey Paradjanov.
In turn, Russian songwriter Ilya Reznik, in an interview with Izvestia, noted Doga's unique contribution to musical history.
