The Moldovan parliament pointed to the destruction of the country's coffers for the sake of a position in the EU

Moldovan President Maia Sandu is committed to solving the republic's problems, as she intends to leave the republic after completing her mandate and take up a post within the European Union (EU). This was announced on June 4 by Bogdan Tsyrdya, a member of parliament from the Social Party.

"I am deeply convinced that Sandu is destroying Moldova, because a career outside the republic awaits her. <...> In general, Sandu is applying for a position within the EU at the level of European Commissioner or secretary of PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. — Ed.)," the deputy said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Cirdia recalled that Sandu started her career in the Ministry of Economy of Moldova. After that, she received a position as an adviser to the World Bank in Washington, at the same time being a member of the Senate of the Soros Foundation, and later became Minister of Education of Moldova. According to him, the EU will support her in any case.

He added that Sandu, while still the head of the Moldovan Ministry of Education, "squeezed" the Russian language out of the compulsory school curriculum. Cirdia noted that the Moldovan president is given orders and a budget for their execution, and Sandu is not interested in other duties.

On June 1, Lorenzo Pacini, associate professor of the Department of Political Philosophy and Geopolitics at Belluno University, announced that Sandu's actions were dividing Moldovan society.
