One person was killed and another injured in an accident in the Rostov region.

In the Rostov region, a passenger of a passenger car was killed and the driver was injured in an accident. This was announced on June 3 by the regional state traffic inspectorate.

"On June 3, 2025, at 18:10 on the 12th km + 900 m of the Azov-Yeysk highway, a driver born in 1983, according to preliminary data, while driving a Toyota car, lost control and allowed an exit from the road followed by a rollover," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

The injured driver of the car was taken to a medical facility, and the passenger died before the ambulance arrived. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

The relationship with the victim was recognized as a mitigating circumstance.

On June 3, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region reported that a minor girl in the city was injured when a car hit her. It was clarified that as a result of the incident, the girl was hospitalized in serious condition.
