- The IDF announced an artillery strike on the southern part of Syria in response to the launch of shells

Israeli gunners hit the southern part of Syria in response to the launch of two shells at the northern part of Israel. This was announced on June 3 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
"Some time ago, the IDF artillery struck southern Syria after shells were fired at Israeli territory," the press service said in a Telegram channel.
It is specified that at 21:36 local time (coincides with Moscow time), sirens sounded in the settlements of Ramat Magshimim and Haspin. Later, experts found two missiles there, which were launched from Syria.
On the same day, the IDF announced that the Israeli army had intercepted a missile fired by the Houthis from the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement. It was clarified that before the IDF intercepted the rocket, an alert was issued in some areas of Israel.
