Registration for the championship and golf championship has been opened in the Moscow region

Registration for the Moscow Region Golf Championships and championships has opened. This was announced on June 3 on the website of the regional Golf Federation.

"The Moscow Region Golf Federation has opened registration for the two largest regional tournaments of this season: the championship and the championship of the Moscow region...> Applications are accepted on the official website of the Moscow Region Golf Federation," the message says.

It will be clarified that the championship, the main junior competition in the region, will be held from June 30 to July 2, 2025 at the Pestovo Golf and Yacht Club, located on the shore of the Pestovo reservoir. The Moscow Region Championship, which is one of the main events of the Russian golf season, will be held on the course at Golf & Country Club Agalarov from August 27 to 29, 2025.

"The championship and the championship of the Moscow region are not just competitions, but the foundation for the development of golf in the region. We see how the level of training of players is growing every year, competition is intensifying, and the geography of participants is expanding. This suggests that the Moscow region is becoming a strong center of attraction for Russian golf. We are proud that the tournaments are held on the best courses in the country and thank all the partners and organizers for their support," commented Alexey Zharich, First Vice President of the Moscow Region Golf Federation, on the start of the tournament season.

The strongest athletes of the Moscow Region national team will also take part in the tournaments: Alisa Molokanova, Alexandra and Snezhanna Sivov, Artyom and Kirill Dunaev, who have already won several awards both in the Russian and international golf arenas.

Izvestia reported on May 23 that an international golf tournament was held in the Moscow Region among schoolchildren aged eight to 14 who attend school golf classes. It was clarified that the younger participants played with plastic clubs for safety reasons, while the older ones played with professional equipment.
