The Scarlet Sails Festival received the Silver Mercury Creative Award
On June 3, the concert part of the alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2024" received a silver award from one of Russia's main creative awards, the Silver Mercury, in the nomination "Best Mass Event".
The award jury highly appreciated the quality of the event's organization, audience reach, effective interaction with it, and the constant growth of brand awareness.
Vladislav Kabanov, the director of the concert at the Palace Square, noted that the organizers have to raise the bar and come up with new scenarios every year. According to him, they often have the idea that it is difficult to surpass what has already been done, but even with such a task they manage to cope.
"The thought constantly arises that it is difficult to do better than what has already been done, but even with such an ambitious task we are coping. "Scarlet Sails" are always distinguished by their high technology and originality. Every number of the program, every element of the scenery works on the general idea and theme of the holiday," he said.
The mission of the Silver Mercury Prize is to recognize and reward the most outstanding projects that have captured the hearts and minds of people and demonstrated the positive impact of marketing and advertising on shaping culture and society. This year, 769 projects in 169 nominations applied for the victory.
On May 22, Izvestia reported on the beginning of preparations for the Scarlet Sails Alumni Celebration in St. Petersburg. Then, after wintering, the main symbol of the event, the brig Rossiya, was launched. This year, the date of the celebration is set for June 28.
