The Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian military in the special operation zone

On June 4, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of the Russian military in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

Thus, the ministry noted the actions of the senior operator of the calculation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Private Stanislav Nakov, who conducted aerial reconnaissance of the area in order to search for and destroy strongholds, weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in an important area of the offensive of Russian troops. Flying over the adjacent forest area, he discovered a communications station and an enemy stronghold with equipped firing positions where Ukrainian militants were stationed.

After radioing the higher command about the discovery, Nakov received an order to destroy the enemy position, after which he successfully hit the enemy's communications center using an FPV drone. Then the private prepared the second attack UAV for departure and sent it to the stronghold. Thanks to Nakov's courageous and professional actions, the enemy's communications station and stronghold with Ukrainian militants were destroyed, which facilitated the advance of Russian troops in this direction.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the actions of the guard of Private Ivan Grents, who acted in the calculation of the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) combat vehicle. After receiving the task of destroying the AFU mortar crew, which was hampering the actions of the Russian attack aircraft, the crew quickly took up positions and waited for target designation from aerial reconnaissance. Having received the coordinates, Grenz quickly aimed MLRS and began hitting the enemy with rocket artillery fire.

During the task, he visually detected the approaching FPV drone of the Ukrainian militants. After that, the private quickly took a convenient firing position and destroyed the enemy drone with aimed shots from his personal weapon and continued to carry out the combat mission. Thanks to the competent and accurate actions of Private Grenz's guard, the Ukrainian armed forces suffered significant losses in equipment and personnel, which allowed the Russian military to take up new positions.

On June 3, the Ministry of Defense reported that the crew of the 152-millimeter towed Hyacinth-B cannon of the Warsaw Artillery Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of Forces destroyed the AFU command post in the special operation zone. It was clarified that the target was located at a distance of more than 20 km.
