- The Turkish Foreign Minister announced the agreement of the Russian Federation and Ukraine on a new round of negotiations

Russia and Ukraine have agreed to hold the next round of negotiations. This was stated on June 3 by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the TRT Haber TV channel.
"The parties have agreed on the next round of negotiations. We are waiting for this meeting," Fidan said.
In addition, the Turkish Foreign Minister noted the professional approach and training of both sides during the previous negotiations in Istanbul.
The second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul ended on June 2. According to a source of Izvestia, they lasted more than an hour and were broadcast in Russian. According to the source, during the meeting the sides discussed in detail possible prisoner exchanges.
After the talks, the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, said that Ukraine and Russia had agreed on the largest exchange of prisoners of war since the beginning of the special military operation, which would include at least 1,000 people from each side. In addition, the Russian side suggested that Ukraine declare a two- or three-day truce in certain sectors of the front to collect the bodies of the dead.
