On June 3, the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin that the electricity supply to the settlements of the Zaporizhia region had been restored.

"All processes and emergency situations are under the personal control of the president, and, of course, we feel great support from Vladimir Vladimirovich, the Russian government and the presidential administration," Balitsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is reported that the situation was stabilized in less than a day.

Balytsky noted that the head of state thanked the Zaporizhia region team for their prompt work and special attention to each individual issue. He stressed that during the period of liquidation of the consequences of the accident, there were no cases of violation of order or looting.

"I thank the municipal administrations, everyone showed courage and endurance. I thank the residents of the Zaporizhia region for their patience and understanding," Balitsky added.

Earlier in the day, Balitsky reported that as a result of strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region, 457 settlements and 600 thousand subscribers were temporarily left without electricity. Later, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation stressed that the energy supply in the region has been fully restored.
