Hongqi has announced the prices of the new H6 liftback for Russia

The new Hongqi H6 liftback will go on sale in Russia on June 4. The model will be available in two trim levels — for 3.89 million and 4.09 million rubles, the Izvestia correspondent reports from the presentation of the new product in Moscow.

Hongqi H6 enters the market with a turbocharged two-liter engine with a capacity of 245 hp (380 Nm) paired with an eight-speed automatic, front-wheel drive.

In the Hongqi model range, the novelty will be located between the H5 business sedan and the H9 premium sedan. The novelty is 4,990 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, and was designed with the participation of former Rolls-Royce chief designer Giles Taylor. The drag coefficient is 0.27, which is one of the best indicators in the class, the company said.

The H6 is equipped with a fully independent McPherson front suspension and a multi—link rear suspension. Shock absorbers with "smart" damping control are installed in the maximum configuration. Nine airbags are provided.

The trunk volume is 500 liters (1600 liters with the second row folded). The front seats have ventilation, massage and heating functions. The salon is offered in two design options. The finishing materials are leather and alcantara. The equipment includes a 12.6-inch central screen and 12 speakers of the audio system, as well as a sliding hatch and a set of security systems.

This year, Hongqi will also introduce the HS7 crossover and the L1 sedan in Russia.
