The resumption of negotiations with Ukraine on the settlement of the conflict is possible no earlier than the end of June or the beginning of July. This opinion was expressed by American political scientist Malek Dudakov on Tuesday, June 3.

"As we can see, the Ukrainian side took 30 days to review the memorandum, which was submitted by Russia. The thirty days expire in early July. Therefore, we will probably hear some feedback from the Ukrainian side in late June or early July," he said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

According to the expert, the administration of US President Donald Trump will continue to put pressure on Kiev and demand that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky continue to participate in the negotiations.

Earlier it was reported that the third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is also expected in Istanbul, RT reports.

On June 2, the second round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations took place in Istanbul. They lasted more than an hour. Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said that a memorandum of truce with proposals for a complete ceasefire had been handed over to the Ukrainian side. 360.ru .

In addition, the parties agreed on the largest prisoner exchange in the entire special operation. Seriously wounded, sick soldiers and military personnel under the age of 25 will be exchanged in the "all for all" format, the NSN reports. It is planned to return from 1,000 to 1,200 people, Medinsky said.

Ukraine has proposed to hold the next negotiations in the period from June 20 to June 30.
