On June 3, Rostelecom and Galaktika Corporation signed a cooperation agreement at the 10th conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (CIPR), which is being held in Nizhny Novgorod. This historic deal is able to accelerate the process of technological import substitution.

This year, the guests of the conference are greeted right on the doorstep by a domestic unmanned tractor, equipped with cameras. Instead of a windshield, it has a huge LED screen on which its main advantage is broadcast - a 30% reduction in transportation costs.

The concentration of innovative domestic developments here is off the charts. Even airlines are already introducing domestic "navigators".

"The main thing is that the pilot does not lose his main skill — to control the aircraft correctly. No computers will help here. I'm joking, of course, without a doubt, automation is now what has come to the rescue, including for pilots," says Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Mobile operators are switching to new Russian base stations — LTE, 5G. And developers of operating systems for mobile devices are starting to cooperate with car companies.

By creating solutions that simplify life, including for businesses, domestic developers enter new markets and receive priorities in public procurement.

"In our country, 80% of the solutions currently used by enterprises for financial management are Russian, and every second installed program for digital design is already ours," Mishustin emphasizes.

One of these programs is the Galaktika ERP integrated enterprise management system, which replaced a foreign one. All business processes in a single system - from production planning to salary payments. Industry giants are already using this software. Rostelecom has now concluded a strategic cooperation agreement with the Galaktika Corporation, the developer of the system.

"It is possible to use the products in Rostelecom's infrastructure, and Rostelecom, as an integrator, is deploying our products to other companies. And various technological partnerships. For example, data centers, joint hardware and software complexes. The joint expertise will allow us to reach a new level," said Alexey Telkov, CEO of Galaktika Corporation.

Galaktika has more than 6.5 thousand implemented projects, Rostelecom has a total of more than 200 subsidiaries, including a telecom operator. All of them require constant adaptation, automation, improvement, and data protection.

"We have just signed another agreement. Today we see that the government and Russian business companies have a request to provide comprehensive services from one source," said Mikhail Oseevsky, President of Rostelecom.

"As an active digitizer who actively works with various enterprises of the B2B segment and the B2G segment, we consider both of these solutions as a potential joint partnership to implement and develop these solutions in the interests of our clients and customers," said Darius Khalitov, Senior Vice President for Information Technology, Rostelecom PJSC.

Such alliances of companies make it possible to implement advanced IT solutions and accelerate full import substitution.

"Today there was a deadline, including 2027, for example, as Russian Railways as the flagship of the transport infrastructure, they will completely abandon the imported product. Well, other intersectoral segments will also keep up with this," said Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister.

This year's CIPR shows what a leap our IT specialists and developers have made in a couple of years. And how their solutions are applied by large corporations, automating processes and creating new services for the government, business and people.
