Former US President Joe Biden believed that Russia must be destroyed. This was stated on June 3 by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in an interview with the French newspaper Le Monde.

"Joe Biden, with whom I talked about this for a long time, believed that Russia should be destroyed," he said.

As noted by "Gazeta.En", Lula da Silva added that Europe sided with the United States in the conflict in Ukraine and is now spending billions on rearmament, fearing an alleged threat from Russia.

The Brazilian President also announced his readiness to support negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
