The largest increase in transfer demand since May last year was recorded in the Asian direction — transfers to China began to be ordered 84% more often. Demand for transfers, according to Avito Services, increased by 26% compared to May last year. Izvestia got acquainted with the results of the study on June 4.

According to analysts, the excitement among Muscovites is particularly noticeable — 5.6 times (+462%), which is due to the simplification of the visa regime.

Mountain holidays remain a favorite among many Russians — the demand for trips to Altai has jumped by 70% in a year. Most often they travel from Perm (4 times), Barnaul (2.5 times) and Tomsk (2 times).

"Russians are increasingly traveling to neighboring countries for new experiences. The most sought—after area is Transcaucasia. Trips to Armenia have become more popular by 53% over the year, with Krasnodar (5 times), Rostov-on-Don (3 times) and Kazan (2 times) accounting for the main increase in demand," the service said.

Georgia turned out to be slightly less popular (+29%), but tourists from the south of Russia — Crimea (3.7 times) and Rostov-on-Don (3.4 times) — are still coming here, as well as residents of St. Petersburg (+89%).

While the beaches are just warming up, Russians are already booking transfers to Black Sea resorts. Thus, the demand for transportation to Yalta increased by 44% over the year. The most active tourists were from Orenburg (4 times), Moscow (2.3 times) and Pskov (2 times).

Russians book a transfer to Sochi in advance (+23%). The main flow of tourists comes from Yaroslavl (6.7 times), Nizhny Novgorod (6.3 times) and Astrakhan (5 times).

Elena Kosheleva, Director of Sberbank Insurance projects, told Izvestia on May 7 that it was important to prepare carefully before traveling to exotic countries in order to avoid health and document problems. The specialist explained that dangerous infections such as malaria, Dengue fever and Zika virus are common in some regions.
