The growing number of terrorist acts committed at the behest of the Kiev regime is linked to its agony. Igor Semenovsky, a political scientist and associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, shared this belief with Izvestia on June 3.

"The expectation is that Russia will withdraw from the negotiation process, so that Russia's conditions will not be achieved through negotiations. Otherwise, it is a faster "ticket" for the Kiev regime to be sent to the dustbin of history," he said.

The political scientist stressed that in an attempt to harm Russia, Kiev seeks to intimidate civilians and resists to the maximum in order to prevent a quick peaceful settlement.

On the same day, Alexei Zudin, a political scientist and senior lecturer at MGIMO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, said that the Kiev authorities were already using a familiar strategy to select civilian targets in Russia for terrorist attacks. In turn, Andrei Koshkin, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, a military expert, expressed the opinion that the current Kiev authorities are doing everything to escalate the situation, disrupt negotiations and continue hostilities.
