Switzerland, following the EU, expanded the sanctions list against Russia

Switzerland has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia, partially joining the 17th package of sanctions of the European Union (EU). This was announced on June 3 by the country's Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
The updated list included 17 individuals and 58 organizations, as well as 189 ships and 31 enterprises.
For example, the list includes Alexey Vyaznikov, head of the Central Research Institute of Electronics, Nikolai Lobaev, one of the founders of the Lobaev Arms arms company, as well as Sergey Kogogin, Chief Executive Officer of KAMAZ, and Nikolai Rogalev, rector of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
On May 25, the head of EU diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, called on Western countries to exert "the strongest pressure" on Russia to allegedly end the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kastutis Budris said that it was necessary to isolate Russia, as well as tighten sanctions against it. According to him, compliance is not the way to peace, but only to allow the continuation of "aggression."
