The Federation Council predicted Kiev's reaction to the Russian memorandum

Kiev's reaction to the Russian memorandum will be negative. This opinion was expressed on Tuesday, June 3, by Vladimir Jabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.
He noted that he is carefully studying the scenario for the development of the negotiation process, which is set out in detail in the Russian memorandum.
"I do not yet know Ukraine's attitude to our proposals. I think it will be negative. Although we didn't ask for anything new there," the senator said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .
The senator recalled that Russia's position on many issues was announced back in December 2021.
"I think there will be a negative reaction. We must wait for the official reaction and continue doing our job for now. Our military knows what needs to be done, and they are doing it," he concluded.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the draft of the Russian memorandum proposed to Kiev was aimed at eliminating the root causes of the conflict in Ukraine, according to the website. kp.ru . According to him, the document should eliminate the causes of the conflict due to its multivariance and the multitude of proposals contained in it, RT reports. At the same time, Peskov stressed that the settlement issue is extremely complex and contains a large number of nuances.
