In Crimea, a resident of Feodosia was detained, who, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, assembled a bomb and placed it in a cache in Sevastopol. This was announced on June 3 by the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.

"It has been established that a resident of Feodosia, born in 1965, proactively offered his assistance to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and was engaged by its representative in confidential cooperation," the report says.

In accordance with the task of the curator, the defendant took pre-prepared components for the manufacture of explosives from two caches located in the Crimea. He received instructions on how to create it via video link. He put the manufactured product in a cache located in the Balaklava district of Sevastopol.

The investigative department opened a criminal case against the man in accordance with Article 275 of the Criminal Code ("High treason"), Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, transfer or carrying of explosives or explosive devices"). He was taken into custody.

Earlier, on May 29, a resident of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) was sentenced to 13 years in prison in a high treason case. According to the Prosecutor's office of the region, the convict provided financial support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
