Sobyanin announced the opening of building No. 2 of the palliative care center

The Moscow authorities have completed the modernization of the Moscow palliative care system, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his Telegram channel. Now a new generation palliative care service will be built in the city — with modern infrastructure, on-site and inpatient care, specialist training and support for relatives of patients.
The city's palliative care service includes hospices, departments in city hospitals, field teams, and the Moscow Multidisciplinary Palliative Care Center. The reconstruction of seven buildings of the Center has already been completed, as well as the overhaul of the palliative building at the Children's Morozovskaya Hospital and the palliative ward at the Botkin Hospital. Today, the last link of Moscow's palliative care framework has been updated in the capital — building No. 2 on Dvintsev Street, which will begin operation in the near future.
"On an area of more than 9 thousand square meters, we have created a space as close as possible to home conditions. Comfortable rooms with lifts, comfortable furniture and everything necessary for care, a respiratory support department, a small operating room, diagnostic and hydrotherapy rooms. A barrier—free environment has been created in the building and in the surrounding area for a comfortable stay and outdoor walks," said the mayor of the capital.
