The Russian Foreign Ministry warned that in South Korea, in some cases, Russians arriving without a visa may be denied entry. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the department.

"In some cases, Russian citizens who arrived in the Republic of Korea on a visa—free basis are denied entry," the Foreign Ministry said.

The Russians were also urged to be ready to answer South Korean migration officers' questions about the purpose of the visit, the route, the place of stay and the sufficiency of financial resources, adds "Газета.Ru ".

On May 31, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation announced the terms of simplification of the visa-free regime with China. The final version of the document is scheduled to be agreed in June 2025.
