The Moscow City Court has sentenced members of a gang of black realtors who stole apartments from single pensioners. This was reported on June 3 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Rafael Khamidullin was sentenced to 23 years in a high—security penal colony and a fine of 3 million rubles, Gennady Dubrovsky was sentenced to 16 years in a general regime colony and the same fine.

The police officers involved, Andrei Tolkach, Ruslan Deynichenko and Alexander Velichko, were stripped of the ranks of colonel and major of police, respectively. The first received 15 years in a high—security penal colony and a fine of 1.5 million rubles, the second - 16 years in a high-security penal colony, he was fined 1.5 million rubles.

The third was sentenced to 12 years in a high-security penal colony and a fine of 1 million rubles. They will also not be able to hold positions in the internal affairs bodies for two to three years.

Svetlana Nikolaeva was sentenced to eight years in a penal colony and fined 1 million rubles. Alexey Barkov was released in the courtroom.

A group of black realtors operated in the period 2010-2024 and, according to investigators, during this time they managed to illegally seize dozens of apartments of lonely old people for a total amount of more than 250 million rubles. As a result, the members of the group were detained.
