Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Colonel-General Ilya Denisov from his post as Deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The relevant decree was published on June 3 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"To dismiss Colonel-General of the internal Service Denisov Ilya Pavlovich from the post of Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters," the document says.
It is specified that the decree came into force from the date of its signing. Denisov has held the position since 2019. Prior to that, he was the head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow. He has served in this post since 2015.
On May 28, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dismissed Maxim Titov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, at his request. He has held this position since 2023.
