Danila Molchankin, the driver of the Rudnevo electric depot, became the winner of the Moscow Masters competition in the profession of an electric train driver.
The winner works on the Nekrasovskaya line.
The final stage of the competition was held at the site of the Rudnevo electric depot. This year's final was attended for the first time by a female machinist, Medina Trakic from the Fili electric depot, who took 2nd place. Kanatbek Abdullaev from the Warsaw electric depot won the bronze medal.
"The annual city competition among metro employees is primarily a motivation, as well as an opportunity to improve their skills and knowledge, and share their experience with colleagues. Participants undergo both theoretical and practical tests to fully demonstrate their professionalism. According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we provide employees with decent working conditions and social guarantees from the Moscow government," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The competition tasks were divided into three sections. In the theoretical part, the participants showed the full range of professional knowledge. In practice, they competed in the ability to act correctly in case of malfunctions or emergency situations. In the superfinal, the 6 drivers who scored the maximum number of points demonstrated their train control skills and demonstrated their ability to accurately stop and calculate the braking distance.
