Starovoit noted the importance of connecting the right and left banks of the Ob River

The docking of the right and left banks of the Ob River near the city of Surgut in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra is an important event, an investment project is being implemented there, the cost of which exceeds 70 billion rubles. This was announced on June 3 by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Roman Starovoit.

"It is a very important event for bridge workers when two brigades come together. It happened today on the Ob River <...>. A very large investment project is being implemented there," he said.

As part of this project, a bridge will be built, which was docked today. As a result, the distance of the road surface and bridge crossing over the lakes will exceed 40 km.

On May 13, it was reported about the construction of a bridge across the Bira in Birobidzhan in accordance with new technologies. It will be built from uncut steel-reinforced concrete beams, which will shorten the construction time.
