Orban predicted increased discrediting of Hungary from abroad

Foreign-funded campaigns to discredit Hungary will intensify. This was announced on June 3 by Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"The operations of the special services against Hungary and the campaigns funded from abroad to discredit the country will intensify," he said at a meeting of the Hungarian Defense Council.
Orban added that despite the efforts of US President Donald Trump, Europe is becoming more and more involved in the conflict in Ukraine. The Brussels bureaucrats do not support American peace plans, they prefer Kiev to continue fighting.
"Hungary is against it. Hungary prefers to support American peacekeeping efforts," the Prime Minister added.
On June 2, Orban called for preparations for a prolonged conflict in Ukraine. According to the politician, the military actions indicate that the conflict will be longer and more violent than expected at the beginning of the year.
