Likhachev spoke about Rosatom's contribution to Russia's digital sovereignty
The Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) conference is aimed at developing solutions for the entire industry and strengthening the country's digital sovereignty, and Rosatom has its own role in this process. Alexey Likhachev, the head of the state corporation, told Izvestia on June 3.
According to him, Rosatom is engaged in the creation of heavy industrial software, engineering calculations and digital product lifecycle management. The corporation's developments are used not only in the nuclear field, but also in other industries.
"The first result of this CIPR is the building of intersectoral bridges and the deployment of products developed at Rosatom and with our strategic partners in the interests of other industries," he stressed.
Likhachev noted the importance of including not only software, but also hardware in the agenda.
"We also serve as such a moderator of this work. Appropriate structural units have also been created in the state corporation. A fairly large partner network has emerged," Likhachev added.
In addition, according to the head of Rosatom, the state corporation has proposed new solutions for high-power computing based on photonic technologies that can provide a breakthrough in the field of supercomputers.
"This is an opportunity to step out of today's landscape into tomorrow's and not only reduce the gap, but also, perhaps, to break ahead in certain information technologies," concluded Likhachev.
On the same day, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said that CIPRe develops software products for the design and management of enterprises every year. According to him, all Russian industries are subject to cyber attacks, which are being actively implemented to counteract digital resource security technologies.
