- The leader of the Freedom Party announced his withdrawal from the ruling coalition of the Netherlands.

Geert Wilders, chairman of the far-right Freedom Party (PVV), said his party was withdrawing from the ruling coalition amid disagreements over migration policy. Wilders announced this on June 3 on his account on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
"There are no signatures on our asylum plans. No adjustments to the basic conditions. The PVV is withdrawing from the coalition," the Reuters news agency quoted Wilders as saying.
It clarifies that the withdrawal of the party that won the most mandates following the results of the last parliamentary elections will jeopardize the existence of the ruling coalition and may lead to the organization of new elections in the country.
This decision will also increase uncertainty in the economy and postpone a decision on a possible increase in defense spending to achieve new NATO goals.
On April 26, the chairman of Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party, Irakli Garibashvili, announced at a briefing at the movement's office that he was leaving his post and retiring from politics. He noted that his mission as chairman of the party has been fulfilled.
