Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF), will be informed about the investigation of a criminal case in connection with a hit-and-run on a motorcyclist in St. Petersburg. This was announced on June 3 by the press service of the department.

"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the acting (acting head of the main investigation Department of the head) To report to Oleg Bobkov, GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg, on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the established circumstances," follows from the Telegram channel.

It is specified that in St. Petersburg, a Rolls-Royce driver ran over a motorcyclist, then ran him over again. The investigators opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder").

The accident occurred on June 1 at the intersection of Peterhof Highway and Admiral Tributs Street in St. Petersburg. The next day, on June 2, the injured motorcyclist told Izvestia that he was preparing for surgery. At that time, the identity of the alleged Rolls-Royce driver was already established — he turned out to be Sergey Sosorev, 37-year-old chairman of the board of TSN Vsevolozhsky 29.

According to an eyewitness, the driver and passenger of the foreign car approached the victim after the collision, but did not provide assistance, but began to hide their tracks.
