In 2025, the demand for flights to Gorno-Altaysk, Kaliningrad region, cities of the Far Eastern Federal District (Blagoveshchensk, Ulan-Ude, Vladivostok) and cities with millions (Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd and Krasnoyarsk) increased. This is stated in the study "Cyanogen.Daily rent" and "Tutu". The results were reviewed by Izvestia on June 4.

According to the services, the most noticeable decrease in demand for flights is recorded to Sochi, Mineralnye Vody, Petrozavodsk, Irkutsk, Perm, Chita, Tyumen, Kemerovo, Barnaul and Novokuznetsk.

At the same time, in all the listed cities, regardless of the level of demand for flights, daily rental rates have increased. The only difference is how strong the growth turned out to be. Thus, prices increased most noticeably in Blagoveshchensk, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Petrozavodsk and Mineralnye Vody. Irkutsk, Tyumen, Kemerovo and Murmansk showed the lowest rates of price growth. It is noteworthy that in Sochi and Arkhangelsk, where demand for tickets and accommodation has decreased, rates have still increased relative to 2024, although not as much as in other cities.

"The daily rental market continues to grow in activity. Compared to last year, demand increased by 20% nationwide. The variability of trips continues to grow, and Russians are increasingly choosing less popular but promising destinations. However, traditional tourist locations such as the Kaliningrad Region or Altai are also showing significant growth," said the Cian expert.Analysts" Elena Bobrovskaya.

Demand for summer flights in Russia increased by an average of 14% compared to last year, added Ekaterina Dolgikh, head of Avia Marketing at Tutu travel service. She noted that in addition to traditional beach destinations, cities are gaining popularity for historical and cultural, as well as research and expedition tourism.

On May 29, Izvestia got acquainted with the results of a study by the national tour operator Alean on prices for family tourists in the regions of the Russian Federation. The cheapest places to relax by the sea are in Crimea, Dagestan and Yeysk, on lakes — in Bashkiria, Chelyabinsk region, Altai Territory, in the mountains — in Arkhyz, Elbrus region, Gorny Altai.
