A car that drowned with a driver was found in a river in Yakutia

In Yakutia, divers found a drowned foreign car with the body of the driver in the cabin. The man had been missing since the end of May.

According to IA YakutiaMedia, on May 28, a resident of Verkhnevilyuysky district, born in 1980, went to a meeting with colleagues in his Toyota Probox car. On the night of May 29, he drove one of his friends home, and since then nothing has been known about the man's whereabouts. Relatives organized searches, which did not bring results.

On June 2, a spot of petroleum products was spotted on the surface of the Vilyu River near the village of Khomustaakh. On June 3, divers made a dive and found a foreign car with the driver's body at the bottom of the river.

An investigation is underway into the incident.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, at the end of May, a boat with people capsized on the Amur River. There were three people on board, they drowned.
