According to the Kamchatka Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, extreme fire danger is expected in the villages of Milkovo and Dolinovka in the Milkovsky Municipal District, the village of Tigil in the Tigilsky municipal District, in the village of Klyuchi in the Ust-Kamchatsky Municipal District and the village of Sosnovka in the Yelizovsky district. This is reported by the KamchatkaMedia news agency. The unfavorable situation will remain until June 5.

The authorities impose restrictions on the stay of citizens in forests and the passage of transport. In addition, cultural events in nature are limited. Bonfires and burning of garbage are prohibited.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the area of forest fires has reached 183 thousand hectares. 13 fires are active in eight municipalities.
