- The number of fines for non-payment of parking by legal entities has decreased in Moscow

The number of fines for non—payment of parking imposed on legal entities in Moscow decreased by 33.5% in April 2025 compared to the same period last year, and by 27% in March. This was reported on June 3 by Kommersant with reference to the State Institution "Administrator of the Moscow Parking Space" (AMPP).
The AMPP noted that the number of violations decreased significantly after the Moscow City Duma decided to increase the fine for non-payment of parking for legal entities by 10 times. Drivers of organizations and corporate cars have become more responsible and now pay for parking on time, they said.
At the end of January, the fine for legal entities for non—payment of city parking in Moscow was increased 10 times - from 5,000 to 50,000 rubles. Amendments were made to art. 8.14 of the Administrative Code of the capital. According to Sabina Tsvetkova, chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Transport and road infrastructure development, a fine of 5,000 rubles has "ceased to be tangible" for legal entities. For individuals, the amount of the fine remained the same — 5,000 rubles.
On May 29, the metropolitan Department of Transport reported that in Moscow, among premium car drivers, those who drive BMWs are more likely than others to park under signs prohibiting parking, in places for the disabled and sidewalks.
