Experts have warned about popular fraudulent "summer" schemes


Scammers cheat in June with payments to families with children and the offer of part-time work. This was announced on June 3 by experts of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front.
"Fake payments for Children's Day. Scammers send messages about "special payments" to families with children under 16, referring to non-existent government programs. They offer to switch to the Telegram channel for "registration" through fake state portals," they told RIA Novosti.
Also, attackers can cheat with fake side jobs. According to experts, profitable jobs appear in applications that do not require work experience. After the person responds, the scammers offer to open a bank account or transfer their access to an online bank for "payroll".
In addition, scammers can create fake bike rental ads and ask for an advance payment, after which they disappear. There may also be fake stickers or ads with QR codes in parks that lead to phishing sites.
On June 2, cyber analysts predicted an increase in fraud against children during the summer holidays. They are trying to deceive them with the help of fake mobile games, social networks, and increasingly speculate on the topic of school exams. It was noted that students are offered to register on a certain resource, in others they are asked to name an SMS code supposedly to activate the school diary, and sometimes they are asked to clarify the personal data of their parents.
