Over 450 settlements were de-energized in the Zaporizhia region after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack.

As a result of the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region, 457 settlements and 600 thousand subscribers were temporarily left without electricity. This was announced on June 3 by Governor Evgeny Balitsky.

"457 settlements of the region are temporarily without electricity, the shutdown has affected more than 600 thousand subscribers," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, power engineers and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the scene. The fire was quickly extinguished. Currently, specialists have begun restoration work to eliminate the consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack.

In addition, socially significant facilities were connected to backup power sources. At the same time, generators are operating that provide water supply and critical infrastructure.

The Ministry of Defense clarifies that any terrorist attacks and provocations by Kiev will not go unanswered.

Earlier in the day, Balitsky reported that the entire Zaporizhia region was de-energized due to damage to high-voltage equipment during attacks by the Kiev regime. He also noted that medical institutions are already operating at reserve capacities.
