NATO is not going to end the confrontation with Russia. This was announced on June 2 by James Jatras, a former adviser to the US Congress, an expert in international relations, public affairs and legislative power.

"They want it to become a permanent feature of international life. They want a new cold war," he said on the Daniel Davis / Deep Dive YouTube channel.

Jatras added that Western countries are not interested in resolving the conflict in Ukraine, they seek to "weaken" Russia. In addition, in his opinion, the more Europe imposes sanctions against Russia, the more people in European countries will become hostages of the current "regimes" of power.

Earlier, on June 3, former colonel and political analyst Jacques Emile Claude Jean-Francois Ogar said that Kiev and its patrons — NATO and the European Union (EU) — must admit defeat in the Ukrainian conflict. He noted that Ukraine has become the object of manipulation by Western countries, and this, in his opinion, leads the country to catastrophic consequences.
