Two residents of Primorye were arrested for trying to sell 5 kg of mephedrone


FSB officers stopped the activities of two residents of Primorye suspected of attempting to sell over 5 kg of mephedrone. This was announced on June 3 by the regional department of the department.
"The FSB of Russia in the Primorsky Territory has suppressed the activities of two residents of the Primorsky Territory involved in the attempted illegal sale of more than 5 kg of the narcotic drug mephedrone as part of a group of individuals by prior agreement," RIA Novosti's press service reports.
It is specified that the supply of mephedrone was carried out from the central part of Russia. A criminal case has been opened into attempted drug trafficking under Articles 30 and 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The suspects are currently in custody.
On May 20, the FSB directorate for the Amur Region reported the seizure of a batch of synthetic drugs worth over 150 million rubles. It was clarified that almost 10 kg of synthetic drugs, amounting to about 40 thousand single doses, were withdrawn from illicit trafficking. A criminal case was opened against a 24-year-old citizen under Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues").
