Gazprom and Serbiyagaz are negotiating an extension of contractual relations for gas supplies to Serbia, the Russian Embassy in Belgrade told Izvestia.

"Negotiations on the continuation of contractual relations for the supply of Russian natural gas to Serbia are currently underway through authorized economic operators Gazprom PJSC and the state—owned enterprise Serbiyagaz," the press service of the Russian diplomatic mission noted.

Earlier it became known that Moscow and Belgrade extended the contract for the supply of Russian gas to Serbia until September 30. This was announced by Dusan Bayatovich, Director of the Serbiyagaz company. According to him, Belgrade will receive 6 million cubic meters at a price of €290 per cubic meter. This will allow Serbia to fill its gas storage facilities before the heating season.
