Rublev lost to world number one Sinner in the fourth round of Roland Garros

On June 2, Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev lost to the first racket of the world to Italian Yannick Sinner in the fourth round match of the French Open Tennis Championship. The tournament takes place in Paris.

The meeting ended with a score 6:1, 6:3, 6:4 in favor of Sinner. In the quarterfinals, he will play with the representative of Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik, who reached the quarterfinals of Grand Slam tournaments for the first time, beating Briton Jack Draper. Rublev was unable to reach the quarterfinals due to the defeat.

The French Open is the second Grand Slam tournament of the season. The current men's singles champion is Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. Evgeny Kafelnikov remains the only Russian to win this tournament.

Rublev beat South African representative Lloyd Harris in the first round of the French Open Tennis Championship on May 27. It was clarified that the meeting ended with a score 6:4, 4:6, 6:3, 6:1.
