More than 25,000 people have fled their homes due to wildfires in Canada


As a result of the ongoing wildfires, more than 25,000 residents of the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have already left their homes. This was reported on June 2 by Sky News channel.
According to the Canadian Interagency Wildfire Center, more than 175 wildfires were recorded on Friday, May 30. Due to the dry weather, they cannot be extinguished, and specialists from other regions of Canada have been sent to help local firefighters.
Residents of Manitoba suffered more damage. In this region, 17,000 people received a mandatory evacuation order. In addition, about 8,000 people were evacuated from neighboring Saskatchewan and about 1.3 thousand people from Alberta.
On May 29, CBC News reported that about 4,000 people were evacuated to the Pelika Narrows settlement in Canada in the province of Saskatchewan due to forest fires.
